So if you’re going through my blog and see content missing I didn’t delete it. Tumblr has flagged almost every sculpture as sensitive content. I’m sure you’ve seen the news already but Tumblr is having a meltdown and already it’s effecting me. As much as I use Tumblr to interact and share, this blog specifically is also for business and it does no good on any front if my work can’t be seen.
I’m not outright jumping ship, but at good time to remind everyone I’m @clockways on instagram, twitter, and pillowfort. And of course my site is also clockways dot com.
Even though (right now) I use the other sites less, please strongly consider giving me a follow there. With how much (completely swf) work is flagged on my blog, there’s a real chance I’ll be purged on the 17th.
so apparently tumblr wants all of its users to leave so I thought I’d drop some links of other places to find me. it’s a bummer for artists and illustrators who use this site to share and promote their work, so it would mean a lot to me if you followed me on other platforms just in case.
lolllllll yeah. cant have childish eyes glancing on my sparkly beach landscapes. (theyve since been de-flagged luckily. my art is rated e for everyone) for real tho y’all ill keep postin here like always but im on all sorts of social media hellsites as well. feel free to select whichever you wish
If I didn’t have the tumblr trans nsfw community when I started transitioning, my transition would’ve gone very differently.
Having a community that I could relate to was invaluable. Being able to express myself authentically to a community who I knew would understand was invaluable. Some of my best friends I made through my porn blog. I could’ve never had these relationships without nsfw
The fact that staff think that the best way to tackle a difficult problem is to nuke anything related to it is outrageous. People’s livelihoods are literally at stake here. Artists and performers could lose everything if this is their only source of income.
Girls like me, people like us NEED spaces where we can express ourselves freely. There should absolutely be accountability for illegal content and a divide between the nsfw and the sfw areas, but it’s destroying a community that has fostered safety and acceptance really the best way to do that?
