hey, your dye is awesome! i was wondering if you use any sort of fixative or procedure to get your dye to hold in the fabric? i used mugwort dye on fabric with a vinegar fixative the other day and it all washed out :(

for animal fibers you have to use alum first! the alum allows the dye to cling to the fibers. Vinegar helps as a fixative but mostly it’s useful for berries, or for brightening the dye (conversely, using iron will darken a dye). 

I have never tried to use mugwort to dye, but hopefully this is helpful!
