Six. Years.

evilsupplyco:

“I have this idea for a really specialized store. It is going to focus on Halloween all year.”

“That makes sense, you really like Halloween.”

“And it is all original art, comics, stories, Set in its own ever expanding world of mischief and love and romance. Monsters smooching ghosts, mermaids marrying dryads, the works. There are going to be support groups of necromancers helping the newly raised, potion brewing guilds to help expand their art, adventurers that do battle with enemies and go out for waffles afterwards together.”

“That seems… like a lot.”

“It is going to have an immense, optimistic air to all of it because the land is a literal infinite utopia. Just ever expanding. So over the years I’m going to be able to introduce entirely new realms and kingdoms and royal families. There will be political intrigue a bit and hidden love affairs. But more than anything the underlying current is love and joy and support.”

“What?”

“And the stories are always available free.”

“Atticus this doesn’t make any sense.”

“And the products? Inexpensive.”

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Evil Supply Co. officially started on October 31, 2012 and every year has been an immense challenge and an even greater reward.

Six years of struggle, thousands of small boxes with tens of thousands of pounds of paper, patches, pins, coiled books, etc.

A few hundred stories across a dozen or two characters and thousands of tiny blips and quips.

Whew.

Tonight I will light a candle in my jack-o-lantern and praise the moon for six beautiful years.

Tonight I will begin working on Year 7, tonight I will begin making it bigger, more tightly crafted, stronger, packages shipped faster, products broader, stories more frequent and vibrant.

Happy Halloween, black hearts, and thank you for another great year.

I promise to make the coming even better.

leodrunewitchcraft:

autumn is upon us; this is a recipe for a mulled cider that will bring you magick coziness, prosperity and warmth this season. you will need:

☾ 2 quarts of apple cider (honoring the departed)

☾ ½ cup brown sugar

☾ 1 tsp whole cloves (exorcism, love, protection)

☾ pinch of nutmeg (protection, prosperity)

☾ 3 cinnamon sticks (power, prosperity, passion)

☾ 6-7 whole cardamom pods (love)

☾ 1 orange slice (abundance, happiness)

combine everything in a pot and bring to boiling; cover with lid and simmer on low-medium heat for 20 minutes. stir clockwise now and then. strain out the herbs and enjoy warm on a rainy evening. if you’d like, light brown, black and/or red candles to make your cider drinking into a little ritual.

Great way to warm up on cool fall days.

We made this for Halloween tonight! Absolutely delicious! Even got high praise from my mum, so you know it’s good! We did halve the sugar though.

Thank you for sharing!

Rainbow Water???

Okay, so I realized something today. I always see posts detailing the various correspondences of different types of water. Moon water, sun water, eclipse water, rain water, storm water, snow water, even *dew* water. Water from a lake, a river, an ocean, a stream, a brook. Even water collected from mist.

But y’all know what I haven’t seen?

Rainbow water.

So hold on to your seats yall because I’m about to take ya on a ride.

Rainbow water is something I use quite often in my craft. Why? Because it’s got so many uses! I use it for:

  • LBGTQ+ spells
  • Spells for positivity
  • Spells for luck
  • Spells for change
  • Spells for perserverance
  • Spells for hope
  • Spells for connection (I call them “bridge spells”)
  • Spells for happiness
  • Spells for creativity/imagination

Honestly, I have no idea why I haven’t seen rainbow water being mentioned before. It can’t be because it’s too difficult to collect because, y’all,

You can make your own rainbows. You don’t have to wait for one to show up in the sky.

Observe:

That right there is a bona fide rainbow that i created with nothing but a hose on the mist option and natural sunlight. Get yourself a pretty (or ugly) bottle with a wide mouth and you can very easily make your own rainbow water!

“But wait, Eiolrin, what if I don’t have a hose?”

Nothing to fear. I’ve got your back. You can also collect rainbow water by:

  • Shine a light through a prismatic crystal, then placing a bottle of regular water in the rainbow that’s created. Just like making sun/moon water! You don’t need to put it in the rainbow for more than maybe 1-5 minutes.
  • Get a plastic spray bottle that mists and spray the mist into natural sunlight until you find a rainbow. Hold bottle against the rainbow and *keep misting*.
  • Hell, you know what? Who needs an *actual* rainbow?

Draw a rainbow. Print out a picture of a picture of a rainbow. This rainbow is in my grimoire in the form of a magic circle (enchantment circle) and i’ve imbued it with the energy of a rainbow. I use this to make rainbow water sometimes.

So go forth and conquer, my lovelies! Be the witch/mage/occultist that uses rainbow water! Spread this around and make sure this is something that becomes a thing because in my opinion, rainbow water is just too useful to be ignored as a valid component in spells and other things.

As a bonus, here’s my rainbow water!

Perfect for iris devotees!! And sun/rainbow witches!!
