Remember when I said I was making essentially a classy version of a Halloween store Dracula cape?

Well, now you can see that I really wasn’t exaggerating

That is absolutely gorgeous! What materials did you use??

Thank you!

Black wool (like a suiting weight), red silk habotai for the lining, flannel interlining between those two layers for warmth, red silk ribbon, red bullion fringe trim, and four red frog closures

Always resignation and acceptance. Always prudence and honour and duty. Elinor, where is your heart? What do you know of my heart? What do you know of anything but your own suffering? For weeks, Marianne, I’ve had this pressing on me without being at liberty to speak of it to a single creature. It was forced on me by the very person whose prior claims ruined all my hope. I have endured her exultations again and again whilst knowing myself to be divided from Edward forever. Believe me, Marianne, had I not been bound to silence I could have provided proof enough of a broken heart, even for you.

Something beautiful about each Neptune placement

tarotaurus:

Confusion and frustration follow Neptune wherever it goes, but there is incredible beauty to be found on the other side of the challenges of each placement.

Neptune in 1st House: The way that you express things, both verbally and nonverbally, is so beautifully unique.

Neptune in 2nd House: It’s beautiful how you treasure your belongings in such a symbolic and spiritual way.

Neptune in 3rd House: You can explain even the most complex and deep subjects so eloquently. With every conversation with you, I walk away with my mind opened and expanded.

Neptune in 4th House: You treat your friends like family, because you know that to them, their friends might be their family at heart.

Neptune in 5th House: You place spiritual meaning in everything that you do, giving you unique and diverse passions.

Neptune in 6th House: You follow your intuition in what you do, and you don’t just try to follow what everyone else is doing.

Neptune in 7th House: You strive to truly understand your partners, even if that isn’t the easiest way to go.

Neptune in 8th House: Your consciousness is an open door to new ideas, and you have a great view of the big picture.

Neptune in 9th House: Your approach to spirituality is entirely unique and perfectly fitting for you, giving you so many beautiful ideas of your own.

Neptune in 10th House: You’re not afraid to be your incredible self, and your ideas can easily reach and inspire other people.

Neptune in 11th House: You do not tie yourself down in groups of friends that just cause you stress. You are always searching for the right people, and always trying new things.

Neptune in 12th House: You have so many thoughts and questions just below the surface, and they emerge in beautiful and creative forms.

TODAY, finally, my illustrated book “THUMBELINA” (POUCETTE 🇫🇷, PULGARCITA 🇪🇸) is out in bookstores in France for Albin Michel Jeunesse and in Spain for Edelvives Editorial !

The book is part of a collection of illustrated classics curated by Benjamin Lacombe ,that include “The Wizard of Oz”, illustrated by Benjamin Lacombe with text by Sebastien Perez and “Pinocchio”, illustrated by Justine Brax

I chose to illustrate Thumbelina as it represents the journey of a girl to her own freedom. In my country, unfortunately, women emancipation is still much underestimated and neglected, even nowadays, in many subtle ways. This is why it has been a great pleasure for me to work on this tale by Hans Christian Andersen! I would like to thank Benjamin Lacombe for giving me the chance to take part in his marvelous collection, Gaia Alari for her support during the whole process.

I hope you like it!
