Villains in Addams Family movies go to really unnecessary lengths to defraud them of the family fortune. These people just give it away on whims all the time. If I just walked into the house and started wearing their clothes and spending their money, they wold start introducing me as Cousin Intruder and forget there was ever a time I didn’t live with them.

As someone who quietly worships with walks in the woods, mental prayers, and silent moments of appreciation because they grew up Catholic and has always hated the showy “this is how you have to worship” mentality (personally, if that works for you go ahead), I really appreciate seeing stuff like this. Yeah that’s nice and all, but there’s stuff I’ve been wanting or needing for ages now, stuff that I haven’t been able to justify to myself because I’m on a scrapy scrapy budget, and if it’s suddenly discounted by 30% then yeah, that might just pull me over the edge.
Progress! I don’t think I’ll get the whole yoke done today, but it will be close, and I can finish tomorrow.
Up too late and didn’t quite finish. 5 rows left for the yoke, then colour work is done (for now) and things will go much faster. 7 days left to finish this sweater and get it blocked. I might just make it.
For the curious, I’m using the Strange Brew recipe from TinCanKnits
6 knitting days left, yoke is finished, sleeves are separated, it’s easy now until I tackle the steek. What could go wrong?
