I love the clothes from Volante Design (“Superhuman Streetwear”); their latest is the “Starfleet 2364” line of men’s and women’s jackets inspired by Star Trek: The Next Generation uniforms.
The jackets are made of heavy denim and are basically extremely well-styled/tailored biker jackets (like Volante’s excellent Hacker
jackets), partially or fully unzipping them and folding down their
lapels takes them from “cosplay” to “cosplay adjacent” in an instant.
They’ve got loads of interior and exterior pockets, and are
double-stitched and come in “Command Red, Operations Gold, or Sciences
Blue,” sized 37 – 51, 55 (men), and 33 – 45 (women). They’re made in
Chicago, retail for $315, and will ship by December 14th.
Earlier, our team tried this new-found milk tea place in scout rallos which is near our office – SerendipiTea. Sounds like Serenitea huh?
Nothing special about the menu because you can still find most of the flavors in other milk tea shops like Gong Cha, Happy Lemon, Serenitea, and Chatime. They already summarized and placed their top 10 bestsellers in one side of their menu board panel wherein customers can just view it from there without even asking the cashier. We are fortunate enough to be assisted by the owner and she explained and answered all our questions. Most of the ingredients, I guess, came from Taiwan.
I ordered a medium sized Hazelnut Milk Tea which already comes with black pearls and I tried the puff cream as an add-on (it is not visible on the picture below). Surprisingly, it already became my favorite! 🙂 At first I thought the puff cream was just the same with Happy Lemon’s rock salt and cheese but the this one is placed at the bottom part of the drink. The cream was poured on the cup first, then the pearls, then the hazelnut tea mix is poured slowly in the cup. Some of the cream rose on the top portion and some stayed at the bottom which blended well with the whole mix. What I like about this drink is the creaminess in every sip! It is quite sweet though but since I have a high tolerance to sweet drinks I didn’t mind at all. This drink is priced at 75php and the add-on puff cream is quite pricey at 30php. But I don’t mind paying a total of 105php because I’m totally satisfied and happy 🙂 And as they say “Choose the perfect blend to satisfy your cravings”
The other flavors we ordered are:
Dark Chocolate with Rock Salt and Cheese: This is their #1 Bestseller. It tastes like cocoa but Happy Lemon’s rock salt and cheese topping is way better.
Taro Milk Tea with Pudding: The color is darker compared to other Taro drinks. And the taste is totally different, it’s probably because other Taro drinks doesn’t have a mixture of brewed tea. If you’re a fan of Taro drinks (without milk tea) I don’t suggest you order this one.
Strawberry Milk Tea: Again, like the Taro Milk Tea, this is different from the usual strawberry flavored drinks. There’s a strong note of tea in this drink. But the pink color is really attractive 🙂
Toffee Milk Tea:
The owner was really accommodating and gave us samples of their Aloe Vera Pops and Coffee Jelly sinkers since we are asking soo many questions about it. Haha. The Aloe Vera Pops is perfect for the Fruit Teas.

I just hope they make the cups more enjoyable by placing themed designs on the sealers just like with Serenitea.

Got to work on this little one today some! I added more details to the body and refinement. The legs need perfecting and I haven’t touched the tail but I like the core shapes. And it’s so much easier since I let myself go with an asymmetrical pose for once.
(I hope you all are alright with shrooms spam because right now I’m very fond of this, which is rare enough I should capitalize on it.)
