Any post-halloween advice for the adult who loves the holiday and honestly couldn’t celebrate it because of college and people needing to work in the morning? I just feel like the day passed like any day even though we had been making plans for a week, and just all fell through.

Celebrate Halloween when time aligns, not calendars.

Celebrate Halloween every day.

If pumpkins are not available, print them or cut them from paper. Dress up, eat candy, watch cartoons, celebrate, celebrate, celebrate.

Life is busy. Schedules conflict. Times get crunched. Resources are always short.

Friends and hearts and ghosts and magic and cold rooms (naturally or via air conditioning) and blankets and cocoa or cider or both or tea or coffee are available all year.

It is a blessing when Halloween celebrations align with the season, that is certainly the most convenient. But when they cannot, improvise.

There is no time limit on joy.
