3º Fase: cotilla (stays) de principios del siglo 18.

Teniendo claro el patrón y las partes voy a envarar, comienzo a pasar el patrón a la tela. Después de mucho buscar en varias tiendas de telas de Valencia y Barcelona, encontré esta que es la que ‘mas se parece’ al modelo original. Es un algodón un poco grueso en color azul intenso y con los motivos geométricos en amarillo/dorado. La verdad es que me encanto en cuanto lo vi es el tipo de azul que me vuelve loca!

Para hacer el forro he vuelto a usar un retal de sabana vieja que me sobro después de hacer la camisa de principios del 18.

The most hateful, cruel thing you can do to someone is throw statistics in their face to prove that their experience isn’t valid enough.

Someone threw statistics at me to prove that children get traumatized by age gaps, literally not knowing I was a child who got raped by a p*dophile. “Tumblr says this” Tumblr fucking traumatized me for months about something I’d never told anyone about, not even my parents, and then I had to force myself to tell the whole world just to clear up that no, I don’t like age gaps.

Someone threw statistics at my biracial friend to prove that she was race-faking online, because she ‘looked too white’ to have an Asian name, a name her Asian mother gave to her! And then everyone on tumblr went after her calling her a racist fake, because she refused to prove her lineage online to a bunch of strangers and compromise her home life.

This is the cruelty I’ve seen on tumblr and it needs to stop. Just to prove a point, you kids literally traumatize innocent people over mistakes made. Over rumors. I wasn’t planning on saying this today but goddamn, I’ve had enough.
