Erik’s first overnight trip! And my first one on Comet.
The ride there was freezing cold and bumpy, and on the way back the sun tried so hard to come through for us! But just ended up dumping on us some more. Our summers are weird here….
The tiny villages in South Ronaldsay (the most southern island of the archipelago where I am staying at the moment) are all well off the beaten track and take some seeking out. This little shoreside settlement is called Herston and really has to win the prize for best kept remote island gardens 🙂
