Hello everyone! Now’s a good time to post a reminder that my work can be found on these other platforms. I’ll still be posting here for the foreseeable future, but if Tumblr eventually kills off the community we’ve all built here with their continued poor choices, please come find me!
Finished up a stitched sample of the spider web fabric print last night! This is 3-strand backstitch, fabric web prints and full kits are in the shop to stitch your own.
What are you doing to keep the frame from damaging the already printed area or leaving a potential ghost print? just letting it dry out a bit? btw LOVEEE your designs!!
Thank you!! ❤
You totally guessed it, it dries inbetween. I print them all in a series of rounds like a carousel. So print number one across however many panels, normally 15-30 at a time. Then I cycle back through for print two. Most times the ink is dry enough by that point, but if it’s still tacky, I’ll hit it with a hair dryer.
Another collaboration between The.Ginger.Ewe and DaughterOfHalloween over on Instagram featuring some of my witchcraft fabrics! If you are interested in a handcrafted set in purple or teal with matching hand dyed yarn, check out their Etsy over here on September 12th at 7pm EST.
Phone snapshot from Monday while heat-setting dice fabric and stitching in between presses. This selkie is going to be entirely done in a backstitch outline. Embroidery never turns out how I imagine, so sometimes it’s easier to experiment and see!
Finished up this flower vinyl record piece! I used Backstitch, French Knots, Woven Roses, and Fishbone Leaves in this project. Fabric prints to stitch your own vinyl record are available in both my shops.
Here’s a small clip of me printing July’s Patreon limited edition fabric. Once I reach 75 patrons, I’ll be doing a step-by-step photo breakdown of my screen printing process.
These stunning pieces are a collaboration between The.Ginger.Ewe and DaughterOfHalloween over on Instagram. They used my pumpkin spice fabric for the handcrafted yarn bags and paired them with matching hand-dyed yarn! The colors are beautiful! The lighting on the purple bag and that yarn makes me swoon. I’m so ready for fall.
Their initial run of these sets sold out, but they’re temporarily opened up pre-orders until Sunday, August 5th. You can snag one over here on Etsy if interested.
