-Pocket Goddess Sekhmet-
Sekhmet, Sekhmet, Eye of Ra.
Lady of the Red Lands. She both protector, fierce of claw, and a healer strong in heka. A large, complex name that almost has two faces to her own side of the coin. She is a Name that came to me often this year, and has brought her fierceness with her. While this piece may be a small tribute, it is no less of who she is.
She’s for sale on my etsy.

She can be a beautiful young woman or a terrifying old hag, a bird, a wolf, an eel, or a cow. She appears in the air, on land, and in the water. Unlike many other Irish deities she is explicitly referred to as a Goddess at least twice in the historic material and we have one ancient prayer to her.

do you have any info on the Celtic goddess Cliodhna? or how an altar for her should be? I can’t find any decent info on her online.
I do not associate with Cliodhna or anything related to her. Nothing personal against her, but she and Aoibheall don’t get along (to say it nicely). So I stay away out of respect.
That being said: Online sources are often crap, especially when it comes to Irish gods. Go to your local library or bookshop and find the world religions section to look up info on Irish myths and gods.
As for altars: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is no proper way to make altars for anyone. They are however you want them to be.
