Enjoying my last day with Hector for a few weeks. We stayed overnight at a lovely little “shepherd’s hut” in Brora which is in Sutherland, Scotland. Hector will be joining me up north, half way through September. I will miss him and I hope he doesn’t forget me!
After such a long drive, we had some fresh air and fun on the beach at Brora. I had forgotten how golden the sand is here. Hector embarked on a major civil engineering project.
….. and strolled along the headland a little … and read some sea-poetry 🙂
….. and rounded off the day with a walk along the headland at South Stack to Ynys Lawd lighthouse to see the sun sink into the sea 🙂 . There were a lot of folk there “waiting for their shot”, a guy with a drone, many tripods and a fella up on the cliff-top precariously balancing his gear.
It was a really nice day.
