Have puppers and knitting will travel. Or actually evacuate. Living the hotel life 500 miles away from home. We spent the majority of yesterday driving. This is the first time I’ve ever had to evacuate for anything.
Hope everyone that is affected by all of these hurricanes going on stays safe.
Big shoutout to @yarngrappler for giving me not only her amazing handdyed yarn but also the beautiful silverleaf pattern (picture is from ravelry, link to pattern in source)
It was so much fun knitting for you 😀
Thank you so much for knitting for me (pics to come still)! You’re an amazing knitter ❤
Anyone else up knitting/crocheting/crafting right now?
It’s currently 3:57 AM, and I can’t sleep. Perhaps doing this now will stave off my unintentional tradition of staying up *the entire night* before an event, in this case the craft fair on Saturday.
I’m salty🍋
Also, the tumblr crisis is a thing, so I hope I don’t get deleted for having reported misattribution of my work by porn bots. These bunglecunts are gonna stay the fuck away, one way or another 🖕
Progress! I don’t think I’ll get the whole yoke done today, but it will be close, and I can finish tomorrow.
Up too late and didn’t quite finish. 5 rows left for the yoke, then colour work is done (for now) and things will go much faster. 7 days left to finish this sweater and get it blocked. I might just make it.
For the curious, I’m using the Strange Brew recipe from TinCanKnits
6 knitting days left, yoke is finished, sleeves are separated, it’s easy now until I tackle the steek. What could go wrong?
