Este mes estoy en modo sobrecarga de costura pero a pesar del poco tiempo que tengo voy a empezar un nuevo proyecto. Quiero hacerme una cotilla de principios/mediados del siglo 18 para comenzar a planificar la robe a la francaise y un conjunto de falda y justillo que tengo en mente.
En mi búsqueda de información he encontrado este libro online ‘Le corset à travers les âges’ donde hay bastantes referencias a cotillas de principios de siglo. Ademas tiene la ventaja de que hay varias ilustraciones que me han ayudado a poder modificar el patrón.
Le temps de l’élégance. . Finally. I dreamed of recreating a XVIIIcentury costume since ages. I’m acctually a bit tired of medieval and Norse reenacment, I need something new, somthing fresh, and something French 😄 So, there is my beginning. The wonderful stays is from Redthreaded ( I’m not skilled enought to do it myself), but the rest of the costume will be sewn by me. I can’t wait to show you more of this project, and I hope you’ll like it ♡
