My illustrations, especially my recent tarot designs, often involve nudity. I don’t personally view them as being explicitly sexual but I mean… I’m not kidding myself that tumblr is going to handle this with any kind of nuance, haha.
I also love and appreciate erotic art and the wonderful artists that make it and don’t really want to be on a site that takes such a patronising and puritanical approach to creative expression.
I’m not going to be immediately deleting my account or anything but definitely am preparing for tumblr to stop being something I use in the very near future.
So! With that in mind, here are some other places you can find my work on the internet.
Twitter – This is pretty much my main social media hub anyway and I usually post art to twitter first. This is also your best bet if you want to stay updated on my progress with the tarot deck.
Instagram – I mostly use this for work in progress shots and the occasional selfie. Although maybe I will transition to using it more in the absence of tumblr.
Etsy – A little sparse at the moment but this is where I want to start putting more of my energy come the new year, so watch this space.
My website – This is my portfolio. If you want a way to find my art without having to scroll through twitter, this is the place.
Short version:
Tumblr has set itself on fire, please follow me on twitter instead.
Harmony. Joy. In one of the last recording sessions before
the final implosion, the Beatles got together and harmonised one last time,
three voices singing as one about the simplest beauty of the world, the wind
and the sky. The Ten of Cups is that sort of moment, one of pure harmony and
love. This can be specific love found in marriage and family, or the more
general all-encompassing love of the universe. It seems to radiate outwards,
touching everything and uplifting your spirits into happiness, deeper than the
satisfaction of the Nine of Cups. Here, the stars align perfectly, and the
world sings.
