i wrote and illustrated my own kitchen witchcraft book! potioncraft is an original written + hand-illustrated collection of recipes and rituals for beverages of all kinds. it features recipes for spiced hot cocoa, mulled cider, harvest sangria, and basil lemonade; it also features information on the magick of smoothies, teas, coffee and more. throughout the booklet are beautiful stippled illustrations that create a rustic witch-of-the-woods aesthetic.

the book is $8 and makes an great gift for yourself or another. buy it here. support witches!

Having my own apothecary in our bus was one of the most important things for me to have. Studying & healing with herbs have saved me in so many different ways. 🌿

Knowing that our medicine grows in our back yards & along sidewalks is one of the most beautiful things to me. Yet it something that is overlooked. Did you know even the weeds that grow around you are medicinal & magical? .

I love the snow but my gemini sun prefers spring. 🦋

👋Hey.

Since there are a few new faces around here, I thought it was a good time to introduce myself & talk a little about my life.

My name is Nicole, I am 26 & I am currently living in a bus that my boyfriend & I converted into a home. We have two cats and my boyfriend & I have been dating for 6 years. I was ridiculously sensitive as a kid as I would have prophetic dreams of traumatic events that would happen to people I knew & didn’t know, I have been able to just tell how people feel (empathic) & can see inside of peoples’ heads.

In high school, I was supposed to die thanks to having factor five which made me have blood clots in both of my legs & abdomen. A birth defect ended up saving my life & that’s a whole other story in and of itself. These health issues paved the way for me to have endless paradigm shifts which helped carve my world view while also leaving me chronically ill.

I ended up going to college for nursing (much thanks to parental pressure) & ended up dropping out after the first year so I could follow my dreams of being an artist/photographer. I was successfully doing photography until it was too much for my health & now I work from home (our bus) & have my own mystic general shop called Oh Deer & Fox. (On Instagram & Etsy)

I am living an intentional & authentic life as a witch in a bus. 🌿

I like talking about & sharing art, scary stories, spiritual anything, photography, & so much more.

Please feel free to introduce yourself so we can get to know each other.

Can we all just make a big witch community where we grow our own food and make a big stink coming to town to sell our services and live out in the woods? I don’t want to be part of the corporate world anymore.

My friends and I have been thinking about starting an eco village for witchy folk but we have to find land and money first >.

And then pay taxes on the land…LOTS of money. Yeah…it’s a steep project lol.

We could just all move to the same small town. With enough of us (and a small enough town) our population would outnumber the muggles and it would practically be ours.

Plus we’d be causing such a great change that it would probably become a major part of the towns history and would put them on the map so to speak.

Then we could set up little caravans to travel to nearby cities to sell our services, crafts, etc.

It’ll be like the circus coming to town, only magical.

There was a blog that was created based off of an idea like this. I don’t remember what it was called and I’m unsure if it’s still active or not, but it was beautiful and perfect. We were all just creating our perfect witchy community. Does anyone else know of the blog I’m talking about?

I know what you’re talking about! I think they made a Facebook group for it, but either I don’t follow them anymore on Tumblr, or it isn’t active. I thought I knew the username but I’m not sure anymore. They might still be active!

Im not very witchy but the idea of taking over a small town sounds like fun to me! Lets go!

Need a farm girl to help grow your own food?? I’d be happy to help!!

  1. Well Taxes and such on the land would be simply enough to take care of in the States. ( Can’t tax religious land holdings).
  2. We would have tech witches to handle our infrastructure.
  3. Kitchen and herbalist witches to handle food and some sickness ( still need modern medicine no dark times please).
  4. we would have elemental witches for weather forecasting, water purity, fire control, and land maintenance.
  5. Crafting witches for outside economy, home repair, clothing stores,
  6. Animal witches for farms and agriculture.

etc, etc , etc… maybe I’m getting carried away here but seriously good idea.

Ughghghhghg magic powers make this soo

But um yeah I’m deathly afraid of illness I would need all the pure water and soaps. Naturally magical soaps of course.

There’s a town in CT for sale!
http://www.courant.com/real-estate/property-line/hc-east-haddam-connecticut-johnsonville-for-sale-again-20150401-story.html

I’m not quite comfortable calling myself a witch yet, but this is something I can definitely stand behind.

Who’s got the dough? It’s totally cute though.

Ugh, I would move from Canada to be there.

I seriously hope this is already a thing for when I hit the age majority and you let me live there!! I am really, really uncomfy around non-witches and an exclusive town for us would be the dream!! Even though apparently there’s no work for us cursing witches, I would gladly change to whatever kind of craft is needed there!!
Also I love the witchy tumblr community I would be fangirling so hard because living in the same city as my fave tumblr witches 🙌🙌🙌

Can we please make this
Like I dunno make a gofundme?

I’m down. I’ve been thinking about this for a while. How cool would it be for all of us to never have to work a 9-5 bullshit job and instead we could all just make our things and trade them and grow our own stuff and we’d never need anything.

Yesssss

👍✨ This needs to be a thing someday
