The Future Of TarotProse

NOTE: This is going to be a long post. Get a cuppa of tea, coffee, water something and lets chat!

Hi. I hope you all are doing well. I wanted to do another check in now that finals are over for me. (I passed everything) YAY But this post is going to be about the future of TarotProse.

I currently have backed up and archived all my content both to the cloud and physical backups, I have filed away and submitted the last of all documents for all my copyright notices for all the remaining posts on my blog and I am ready to look forward to the future. So here is the plan.

I want to take you all with me. I want to continue to foster a place of inclusiveness, diversity, being unapologetically queer and black and sharing all Tarot and divination goodness.

With the help of my original team, I now have assembled a new team. I have hired a web designer, copy editor, brand ambassador, cyber security specialist, e-commerce specialist and a few friends as virtual assistants to help me on this journey of making a TarotProse 2.0 version website.

The old TarotProse.com will convert into an archival blog on December 31st 2018 as the development for our new home begins.

This new project will allow me an unprecedented amount of freedom in regards to providing content for all of you that I was just not able to do with Tumblr Inc. I have books, zines, giveaways, guest blog posts, divination challenges, interviews with some of the readers and diviners of Tumblr, courses, and unique reading offerings in the works. I cannot wait to show you what this new year will have in store for us. I hope that you can continue to follow me on my journey as I grow and develop this site for us.

Thank you for reading. I raise my cup of tea to all of you for all the love and support you have given me. I wouldn’t be able to do this without any of you.  I hope that you are as excited as I am for TarotProse 2.0 I will keep you updated.

Love,
Ivan Ambrose (TarotProse)

Having my own apothecary in our bus was one of the most important things for me to have. Studying & healing with herbs have saved me in so many different ways. 🌿

Knowing that our medicine grows in our back yards & along sidewalks is one of the most beautiful things to me. Yet it something that is overlooked. Did you know even the weeds that grow around you are medicinal & magical? .

I love the snow but my gemini sun prefers spring. 🦋

👋Hey.

Since there are a few new faces around here, I thought it was a good time to introduce myself & talk a little about my life.

My name is Nicole, I am 26 & I am currently living in a bus that my boyfriend & I converted into a home. We have two cats and my boyfriend & I have been dating for 6 years. I was ridiculously sensitive as a kid as I would have prophetic dreams of traumatic events that would happen to people I knew & didn’t know, I have been able to just tell how people feel (empathic) & can see inside of peoples’ heads.

In high school, I was supposed to die thanks to having factor five which made me have blood clots in both of my legs & abdomen. A birth defect ended up saving my life & that’s a whole other story in and of itself. These health issues paved the way for me to have endless paradigm shifts which helped carve my world view while also leaving me chronically ill.

I ended up going to college for nursing (much thanks to parental pressure) & ended up dropping out after the first year so I could follow my dreams of being an artist/photographer. I was successfully doing photography until it was too much for my health & now I work from home (our bus) & have my own mystic general shop called Oh Deer & Fox. (On Instagram & Etsy)

I am living an intentional & authentic life as a witch in a bus. 🌿

I like talking about & sharing art, scary stories, spiritual anything, photography, & so much more.

Please feel free to introduce yourself so we can get to know each other.

Sometimes you find a new home, a new path, new friends, new interests and it’s okay to leave your old life behind and start new somewhere else. You are allowed to grow. You are allowed to transition from 2018 to 2019 with a different view on the world. You are allowed to say goodbye, save some memories and start fresh somewhere else.

Goodbye.

Tumblr, for a long time was my home. My place of expression, connection, and hub of online social interaction with the wonderful writing and divination / tarot communities. I started this blog after a hospital stay from a failed suicide attempt. The creation of this blog was my way of coping, making friends and learning about myself. It was a place where I had the chance to connect with some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. I have grown as a person, reader and writer in the last few years that I have been on this platform.

I am conflicted because I love and care for this space that we together have created but the platform it runs on is something that I cannot support. It seems that as each year passes, Tumblr Inc regresses in their support and care for its users. There has been a blatant disregard for the safety and well being of children, the rampant p//o//r//n bots, the ever flourishing n//a//z//i community, the hate blogs, the bullying, the demonization of sex workers, the constant racism, content theft, and the list can go on. I cannot and will not support this. I do not have all the answers right now, I wish I did. I will be talking with my team to discuss my options on what I can do about the future of this blog but as of right now, this will be the last post on this platform for a while. I love you all and I thank you for your support, your love, generosity and for making this space a pivotal point in my journey. I hope all your respective Tarot journeys are worthwhile and filled with the same amount of love you have given me.

If you want to continue following me and TarotProse related content, I have an Instagram account that you can reach me at.

I wish you all nothing but the best. With your consent, sending you a big hug. ❤

Goodbye,
Ivan Ambrose (TarotProse)
